Details & Specifications

Nail stencils are made from high-quality vinyl in Arizona, USA, and can be used with regular polish, gel, and airbrush for manicures and pedicures. These stencils are not reusable and are not intended to be left on nails as decals, stickers, or wraps.

Our nail vinyls will help you create beautiful DIY nail art decorations on your fingers and toes at home, without visiting a salon. We offer the biggest variety of trendy patterns, image outlines, and templates.

To use the nail stencils, first apply nail polish to your nails and wait until it is completely dry. We recommend using a fast-dry top coat over the nail polish or bare nails to create a flat surface, which helps the product adhere better. Ensure your nails are dry and free of oily residues before applying the product.

Lightly push the tape or stencils onto your nails using a finger, paying close attention to the areas near the skin, cuticles, and the tips of long nails. If the stencils are too long, you can cut them to size, and you can also cut the stencils to help them form better to the tip, sides, and curvature of your nails.

If you have trouble with smaller pieces not remaining on the backing paper, try peeling the stencils from different directions. Find the direction that works best for you and peel quickly, holding the stencil close to the backing sheet. If small pieces remain within a stencil, flip and stick or peel the stencil to the back of the paper to remove all the stuck pieces.

Apply fresh or thinned, not thick or gloopy, nail polish across the tape or stencil. Shimmer and metallic nail polishes work better than cremes. We recommend applying the nail polish with a sponge, lightly pushing it onto your nail, similar to an ombre design, to prevent any polish bleeding under the stencil, which will give you cleaner lines.

Remove any extra nail polish from your skin and cuticles using a flat brush dipped in acetone or nail polish remover. Remove the tape or stencils immediately after applying the nail polish, using your fingers, tweezers, or nippers while the polish is still wet. For better results, pull the tape following its edges and the stencils following the pattern.

Wait until your design has completely dried before applying the top coat. Use fresh or thinned top coat, holding your brush parallel to your nail and avoiding touching the nail with the brush, as the top coat drop should be the only thing that touches the nail to prevent smearing.

You will receive two vinyl sheets, each containing 12 scale stencils, for a total of 24 stencils. The stencil size is 7/8 inches by 1 1/8 inches (22mm x 28mm), and the sheet size is 3 inches by 5 inches (75mm x 125mm).

For step-by-step instructions and tips on how to use the nail stencils to get crisp lines and a professional-looking nail design, please refer to the "How to Use" section. You will also receive an instruction card with tips with your order.
